Human Body

The project

I was never drawn to nude photography. For years I carried a fixed idea. That there existed a thin red line separating beauty from the grotesque, a precise and fragile boundary. Until I understood that no such line exists. Not red. Not thin.

My work with the human body is built on complexity. Each project is conceived as a statement in itself, a deliberate composition where the body becomes language, not spectacle. I refuse to sexualize, and I navigate the boundaries of censorship not through concealment, but through intention: nothing is hidden carelessly; everything is considered.

Beauty, in my practice, lives in the mind before it lives in the image. And yet, beneath the intellectual architecture of each series, I always seek something more fragile. A thread of genuine human connection that binds every project together.

Exhibitions

The exhibition grants particular prominence to photography, a medium seldom foregrounded within the gallery’s program. Madrid-based photographer Sergio de Luz approaches the nude with an unmistakably personal sensibility. Working exclusively in black and white, he elevates darkness itself to the role of protagonist, wielding contrast as both compositional force and expressive statement.
